2022 Part-Time, Seasonal Farm Crew Member – see info below

FULL-TIME SEASONAL POSITION
Description:

• Mid-May thru October.   

• Approximately 40+ hours weekly.

• Tuesday - Saturday / 9am - 5:30pm

• Must be able to work at least one weekend day a week.  Exceptional customer service skills are essential. Prior farming experience is helpful, but not required. Potential to return for 2023 season

 

Duties:

• Harvesting vegetables, fruit and flowers for farm stand sales

• Help with daily u-pick operations

• Bed preparation (crop removal, irrigation setup)

• Cultivation with hand tools and hand weeding

• Transplanting and seeding

• Cleaning farm shop and equipment

• Assist during farm markets

• All other duties as assigned
   

Requirements: Enjoy physical work and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly. Willing to work in all weather conditions. Be able to walk, stand, squat or kneel for extended periods of time. This position starts and ends during the school year.

Compensation: $15 per hour

PART-TIME SEASONAL POSITION

• Sunday and Tuesday / 9am - 5:30pm

• Must be able to work at least one weekend day a week. Prior farming experience is helpful, but not required. Potential to return for 2023 season
